Terms & Conditions and Ordering Policies

This Agreement is entered into by and between Seven Ounces (hereinafter referred to as “Seven Ounces,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the client (“you” or “your”).

Order Requests & Approval

All inquiries submitted through our booking link constitute a request only and do not guarantee availability or acceptance. Upon receipt of your inquiry, you will be contacted via email within forty-eight (48) hours if your request is accepted. If accepted, a detailed invoice will be issued via email. Timely response to all invoices is required.

Payment & Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total order amount is due within twenty-four (24) hours of invoice issuance to secure your requested date. Failure to submit the required deposit within this timeframe will result in automatic release of your requested date for booking by other clients. The remaining balance is due forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled pickup date. Because our cakes are made to order and require advance preparation, final payment is due 48 hours before pickup. Orders not paid in full by this deadline will be cancelled.

Payment is accepted exclusively via Venmo and Zelle. Once the deposit is received, written confirmation will be provided via email confirming that your order has been officially approved. 

No deposit = No approved order

Pickup & Late Fee Policy

Seven Ounces operates on a pickup-only basis. Delivery is not available. All pickups occur in Santa Ana, California. The pickup address will be provided two (2) days prior to the scheduled pickup date. Clients are solely responsible for calculating adequate travel time including traffic and distance. A late fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) will be assessed if the client arrives more than fifteen (15) minutes late. The late fee must be paid via Venmo or Zelle prior to release of the order. Failure to submit the late fee will result in immediate cancellation of the order without refund. If the client has not arrived within thirty (30) minutes of the scheduled pickup time, the order will be deemed forfeited and canceled. Pickup may not be rescheduled. No refunds will be issued for forfeited orders or late fees.

All Sales Final / Cancellations

All sales are final. All payments including deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to cancellations, no-shows, dissatisfaction with the final product, or refusal of the order at pickup.

Refusal of Completed Order at Pickup

If the client refuses to accept the completed order at the scheduled pickup time for any reason, all payments shall remain non-refundable, and Seven Ounces shall have no obligation to remake, alter, replace, or refund the order.

Allergen Disclaimer & Product Responsibility

Seven Ounces baked goods are prepared in a home kitchen that may process common food allergens. We do not guarantee that any product will be allergen-free. The client assumes full responsibility for notifying all guests of potential allergen exposure. All orders are custom and handcrafted in Seven

Ounces’ artistic style and subject to our creative interpretation. Exact replicas of reference images are not guaranteed. Once the order has been picked up and leaves our possession, Seven Ounces assumes no responsibility for any damage, melting, shifting, or mishandling of the product. Proper transport and

storage are solely the client’s responsibility.

Agreement to Terms

By submitting an inquiry, submitting a deposit, receiving an invoice, or submitting any payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions and Policies set forth by Seven Ounces.
